Professor Kent A. Ono Named Fellow of the Rhetoric Society of America
The College of Humanities proudly announces that Kent A. Ono, Distinguished Professor of Communication and Provost's Fellow at the University of Utah, has been named a 2026 Fellow of the Rhetoric Society of America (RSA), the highest honor bestowed by the nation's leading scholarly organization dedicated to the study of rhetoric.

Professor Avery Holton is National Finalist for Scripps Howard Administrator of the Year Award
Avery Holton, chair of the Department of Communication at the University of Utah, was recently acknowledged as one of two national finalists along with awardee Hub Brown (University of Florida) for Administrator of the Year in the 73rd annual Scripps Howard Journalism Awards.
