Ramona W. Cannon Award for Teaching Excellence in the Humanities
The Ramona W. Cannon Award Committee invites departmental nominations for the 2022 Ramona W. Cannon Award for Teaching Excellence in the Humanities.
Individual faculty, as well as department chairs, teaching committees, and student advisory committees are encouraged to nominate an outstanding teacher in the College of Humanities. All tenured or tenure-track faculty in the College of Humanities who have completed three years of teaching at the University of Utah are eligible for nomination for the award. Faculty nominees must also be teaching Spring semester 2022.
Nomination Process: Submit a one-to-two page nomination letter describing the special teaching and achievements of the nominee to the Ramona Cannon Committee, c/o Natalie Montoya at the College of Humanities Office (2100 LNCO).
Deadline for nominations: December 23, 2021
Award amount: $1,000
