International Studies Majors Writing an Honors Thesis
Students should contact the international studies professor with whom they want to work to determine if this person would do a thesis with him. If the professor agrees, the student will petition the Director of International Studies and the Associate Dean of the Honors College to allow the Director of IS to serve as the department chair, and International Studies to function as the "department" for the purposes of hosting the honors thesis.
Upon approval of the petition, the Director of International Studies will sign off on the thesis once the thesis professor has accepted it.
