Frederick Kempe (born September 5, 1954) is president and chief executive officer of the Atlantic Council of the United States, a foreign policy think tank and public policy group based in Washington, D.C. He is an award-winning journalist, author, and columnist and a regular commentator on television and radio both in Europe and the United States. He has recently been in the news because of an Atlantic Council report on Afghanistan and comments in the European press about the American election.
